Exit Polls indicate Saffron.

So the mainstream media is done with their exit polls and now all eyes on the exact polls on May 16, 2014.
I don’t think mentioning how many seats did NDA or UPA get in the exit polls is worth. Arnab is not that lazy. He was the only person from mainstream media to not visit Varanasi and enjoy in his studios in Mumbai.

It was in September 2013, when Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat was nominated as the Prime Ministerial candidate of the principle opposition Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP). The ruling UPA-II government since September 2013 started their campaign saying a communal face cannot be the PM of secular country like India.
The exit polls which are now clearly indicating the NDA getting the majority is said to be all because of  Modi. His speeches which were appealing to the masses of the country and also the youth and the first-time voter may have made this possible. I still remember when on August 15, 2013 Modi, from Kutch gave a speech in which he attacked the PM and the state of governance in India, which clearly indicated his wish of becoming the PM.
It was assembly elections for five states which included Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Chattisgarh, another which come on you remember.
For the BJP it was clear Modi will be the person under whose leadership party will contest elections. On the other hand it was Rahul Gandhi who is secular and also Gandhi! Isn’t that enough for the Congress to ask for votes? But we all know there was Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which gave competition to both the BJP and Congress. Arvind Kejriwal is an IITian who now contested against Modi for the Lok-Sabha in Varanasi.
Rahul Gandhi on December 8, 2014 accepted that they need to learn from the AAP. The AAP was the all-time favourite for the media that time and the political atmosphere was almost built.
After assembly election starting from January 2014, all parties started campaigning for their respective party.
It all started here when politicians started accusing and playing the blame game every day and Arnab Goswami was busy asking the BJP about 2002 and the Congress about 1984. There were many controversial statements by every party person the other day but I didn’t feel like going through them again as they are harmful for Aam Aadmi. (Not the AAP)
But here are the statements/interviews or we can say the speeches by Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi while campaigning.
Let’s start with Rahul Gandhi.
1.     On being asked why he has been reluctant to interviews, Rahul denies any reluctance to communicate.
2.     Rahul on whether he fears losing to Modi: I'm not scared of losing, I've lost those I loved, "absolutely nothing I'm scared of."
3.     Rahul on tying up with Lalu despite corruption conviction: Our alliance with a party not an individual (Lalu).
4.     Also “Poverty is a state of Mind.”
5.     Bhaiya yaha Toffee kitne ki milti hai?
6.     Adani! Adani! Adani! Adani!
7.     Communal! Communal! Communal!
8.     Emotional family stories.
9.     Ballon is full with air inside it and nothing else.
10.                        RTI & Women empowerment cannot be left behind.

I wanted to mention Digvijay Singh because he gave a clean chit to Muslims on the terror attacks of 26/11 and blamed RSS for mongering terrorism in the country. If this was not enough, a WikiLeaks expose of Rahul Gandhi telling a US ambassador that home-grown extremism by “radicalized Hindu groups” is a bigger threat than Pakistan’s terrorist activities.
The party goes on record to give clean chits to the Muslims as if to appease them and lure them towards the bait, and bashes Hindu organizations that are backed by BJP.
Couple it with the 10 years of inefficient and insufficient governance and you get a clear picture of the dissent that’s raging across the country. From 2G scam that lost the exchequer hundreds of crores to commonwealth games debacle that took its toll with not just in a loss of money but in loss of international respect. It was under the same rule that we witnessed casual handling of rape instances and the capital city becoming a dark dungeon for women. Then came the coal allocation scam which blew the lid off the callous handling of issues of national importance with estimated loss to the exchequer as determined by the CAG to be a whopping 1.86 lakh crores!

On the other hand everything was supporting the BJP. Congress and the other secular parties had no other agenda other than saying we’ve to stop the communal forces. They didn’t speak up like Modi who took proud of his Gujarat Development Model and also spoke about giving him sixty months to change this country. Modi spoke about development, employment, electricity and everything what he used to say in his speeches, rallies and interviews was appealing to the masses. He also at times attacked the ruling government.
But we can say that the strategy adopted by the BJP was very appealing and also that of other parties was only to stop communal forces or Modi.
The Congress party has to understand that the more they criticize Modi the more damage is done to them. This election was more about speaking the language and words of the masses and not the language that could appease the minority.
These elections will be a sure nightmare for Congress, but who benefits the most from this is something which remains to be seen. Hold your horses, 16th May is arriving.

    1. Well I don't think that was the point. Youth is no more interested in communal or secular. The ruling UPA committed a mistake there by singing songs of secular party.
