"BJP buries Congress." said, Hindustan Times.

Mumbai edition newspapers on May 17,2014.

Waking up on the morning of May 17, 2014 we all knew that the ruling Congress government has lost badly, and it was a historical mandate on the favour of the Bharatiya Janta Party. (BJP).

Yes, you can say that it was only because of Modi.  (‘Vikaas purush’ of the BJP.)

So what I thought was going through all the newspaper today morning and finding out which newspaper gave what as their headline.  Checking which headline was soft or hard for the Congress.  Which headline was very applauding for the BJP. 

1. Let’s start with The Indian Express- It said in bold

 

                                 Modi! 

With a lead story by Shekhar Gupta, saying ‘Your time starts now.’

       2.   Let’s go ahead with Hindustan Times- It had headlines in bold saying

 

         

                                       ‘MODI LANDSLIDE BURIES CONG’

    3.Ahead not forgetting THE TIMES OF INDIA- It looked like it had a two pages headlines.

   ‘INDIA PLACES ITS FAITH IN MODITVA, BJP AANDHI FLATTENS CLAN GANDHI’

4  4.  We should not forget someone like the Pioneer- It said something like

 

                                                 ‘Yes! IT’S MODI SARKAR’

             5.Hey! Wait how can we forget government’s favourite?

          The Statesman- It had a letter in saffron which looked like

 

 

                                                      ‘MODI SARKAR’

It’s quite visible some went too hard for the Congress, but some did not mention about BJP defeating the Congress
