Political Earthquake in Britain.

Party Symbol of UKIP.

The European Parliament went to polls and the results are shocking when we look at Britain. The UK Independence Party (UKIP) is leading all the way.
UKIP has changed the face of politics in Britain with its historic victory at home in the European elections. But it's so much bigger than that. All across the democratic world a revolution is underway.
UKIP's incredible victory in Britain, against all the odds and in the face of a mainstream smear campaign that would have shamed Goebbels will cheer its own supporters. It will frighten the Conservatives and Labour, and it will send shock waves across Europe.
It is over 100 years since a national election has been won by a party other than the Conservatives and Labour.

What's more the UKIP did it by winning seats not just in every region of England but in Wales and Scotland too.

This revolution is like tectonic plates which have moved. And that thing, that gigantic wave that you see on the horizon is not a bad weather event, whatever the establishment may have persuaded it to believe. It is a historic shift which the politics is witnessing world-wide.  It's got momentum. And there's nothing you can do to stop it.

All over the democratic world in what we used to call The West we are witnessing nothing less than a revolution. From the United States, through Britain, through Western Europe and central and eastern Europe, to the democracies from India to South Africa, the people have had enough of being patronised. They want to take power back into their own hands. The kind of "dominated democracy" we have become used to will no longer do.

In terms of the European elections, Europe has reverted to type. In Britain, with UKIP, the breakout from the old establishment has moved in a democratic direction. UKIP isn't perfect; it's rough round the edges; it requires, and will get, required skills. But it is fundamentally democratic: it is of the people and for the people, and it is quintessentially and classically liberal.

And by all this I mean a revolution that is changing everything. We need to think about the "low trust society". We need to think about the "digital revolution". We need to rip up the old assumptions.

The time is changing. Are we changing too? If we think of ourselves as being serious, it’s a question we’d better be able to answer.

That awkward moment when Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers, don’t have a logical reason to protest.

Yogendra Yadav taken into Delhi police custody outside Tihar jail.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal was sent to Tihar jail on Wednesday after a Delhi court ordered him to be taken into judicial custody as the former Delhi chief minister refused to furnish bail bond in a criminal defamation complaint filed against him by BJP leader Nitin Gadkari.

There was commotion outside Tihar jail in the evening as AAP activists staged a protest forcing the authorities to impose Section 144 outside the central prison.

Several AAP workers, including senior party leader Yogendra Yadav, were detained by police following the clash.
"If it is a crime to call a corrupt person corrupt, then send us to jail or hang us. This is dictatorship," said Singh.

Yadav slammed the police's move to evict them saying, "We are not doing anything illegal. Those who are indulging in corruption... are sitting in their drawing rooms and enjoying while those opposing corruption are being sent to jail. What kind of justice is this?
Few workers of AAP while speaking to media said, “We are not against court, but the system.”

Few elements also used bulk messaging to gather AAP workers outside Tihar jail.

Text message circulated to AAP workers.

The fact and the point here I am trying to prove is the court is a part of system. So, when you say you’re not against court, but system. The only conclusion of the statement is you’re against the decision of the court of sending Arvind Kejriwal to jail for not furnishing the bail bond.

For what was the peaceful protest was? The court had given the option to Kejriwal to furnish the bail bond, but he chose not to so.
The court, in its order, also said that this was not a case where the accused is unable to furnish bail bond due to financial inability.
"The accused is just adamant to not furnish bail bond or even a personal bond for his appearance before the court," it said.
Kejriwal said he was ready to give an undertaking that he will appear before the court but refused to furnish bail bond to secure bail.
Why should Kejriwal have a problem in furnishing bail bond? He said, “I am ready to go to jail but will not opt bail.”
So what was the issue with AAP supporters yesterday? Why do they spread chaos every time? It was Kejriwal’s personal choice to go to Tihar jail in summers and not injustice of the court.
The matter is in the court and the next date of the court is May 23, 2014. So was going on protest outside court is a logical and sensible option? Or to argue and make the magistrate in the courtroom believe your point is?

It’s high-time Kejriwal and AAP understands the political realism. They are not the bunch of protestors or activists. The public is watching you, play smart as the Delhi assembly elections are to be announced anytime soon.

"BJP buries Congress." said, Hindustan Times.

Mumbai edition newspapers on May 17,2014.

Waking up on the morning of May 17, 2014 we all knew that the ruling Congress government has lost badly, and it was a historical mandate on the favour of the Bharatiya Janta Party. (BJP).
Yes, you can say that it was only because of Modi.  (‘Vikaas purush’ of the BJP.)
So what I thought was going through all the newspaper today morning and finding out which newspaper gave what as their headline.  Checking which headline was soft or hard for the Congress.  Which headline was very applauding for the BJP.

1. Let’s start with The Indian Express- It said in bold

                                 Modi!
With a lead story by Shekhar Gupta, saying ‘Your time starts now.’

       2.   Let’s go ahead with Hindustan Times- It had headlines in bold saying

                                       ‘MODI LANDSLIDE BURIES CONG’

3.Ahead not forgetting THE TIMES OF INDIA- It looked like it had a two pages headlines.

‘INDIA PLACES ITS FAITH IN MODITVA, BJP AANDHI FLATTENS CLAN GANDHI’

4  4.  We should not forget someone like the Pioneer- It said something like

                                                 ‘Yes! IT’S MODI SARKAR’

4

5.Hey! Wait how can we forget government’s favourite?
The Statesman- It had a letter in saffron which looked like

                                                      ‘MODI SARKAR’

It’s quite visible some went too hard for the Congress, but some did not mention about BJP defeating the Congress
